DARE to DREAM by Henry “Angel” Santos
It’s 6 in the morning,
and you’re lying in bed.
And waking you up,
is like waking the dead.
You finally get up,
and you jump in the shower.
There’s no time to wash,
You have work in an hour.
Then you get dressed,
and you can’t find your keys.
And you’re searching around,
like fish in the sea.
Then you jump in your car,
and you gotta drive fast.
Then a cop pulls you over,
for that sign you just passed.
Then you hit traffic,
now you’ll REALLY be late.
You try so hard to be on time,
to that job that you hate.
Then there’s your boss,
man he’s a jerk.
You’re a person with feelings,
but to him, ‘just a clerk’.
And when work is finally over,
those 8 hours felt like 10.
And you’re on the road in time for traffic,
that’s right, traffic once again.
And when you finally get home,
there’s a stack of bill on the table.
You’re a month behind on your rent,
and they’ve now turned off the cable.
And if that wasn’t enough,
you stumble into bed.
To wake up early in the morning,
and do it all over again.
Until that day comes,
When you’ve finally had enough.
And you’d rather spend your time,
with the people the you love.
Then you’ll come to see,
what only a few have seen.
Just how fast YOUR life can change,
When you are working with OUR TEAM.
So don’t accept things as they are,
For that’s not how it has to be.
Just believe that you can do it,
and most importantly DARE TO DREAM…
